This week I read Operation Bounce House by Matt Dinniman.
I've read Dungeon Crawler Carl several times, so I was quite excited to read something new by Dinniman.
This book was much more of a traditional sci-fi story, but it still had Dinniman's unique brand of humour throughout. If you enjoyed Dungeon Crawler Carl, you will like this one as well.
The book focuses on a distant planet where settlers from Earth are just becoming reconnected to their home planet for the first time after a journey that took 200 years and several generations. Things do not go well. It's a really engaging read full of humour, and good character development. It's also bloody and violent, so it really checks a lot of boxes.
Highly recommended!
As always, may Namos be with you!
