This week I read 1% Lifesteal by Robert Blaise.

I have a real soft spot for LitRPG, and this was a truly enjoyable one.

One aspect I really appreciated was the pacing. It really felt like a good example of how a person would deal with becoming powerful after living a life at the mercy of others.

The author manages to present a realistic character who is trying to navigate a new and dangerous existence. The world is interesting, and there is a lot of room for development. I look forward to reading more books in the series and see where the protagonist ends up. 

I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a good LitRPG.
